So grab your bonfire pals and your favorite pair of sweatpants, and prepare to escape into your personal outdoor fantasy. Hocking Hills is located only 45 minutes from Columbus Ohio, and while that might not be enough to tempt you, Hocking Hills State Park is an outdoor dream full of misty waterfalls, hiking trails, rock houses, and so much more. Hocking Hills is the perfect location to escape for a few nights to reconnect with nature!

The Box Hop property is located 12 miles from Hocking Hills State Park, 5 miles from Cantwell Cliffs, 8 miles from Rock House trail — there are endless activities in this area.

The Cliffs - Cantwell Lodge

You may have seen this luxurious lodge floating around Instagram and community pages as one of the best back-yards on the United States, and for good reason. The Cliffs host a breathtaking lodge under soaring trees, towering rocks and rushing waterfalls. 

There are two seasonal waterfalls on the property, one that creates a unique swimming experience. Think of it as a small pond and not as a swimming pool. Non the less, the eye-catching falls turns this lodge into an outdoor dream.

The Dwell Box

Treehouse Village is a place created for you to experience the peace and tranquility of nature and the modern comforts of home hand-in-hand. At the Chalets at Hocking Hills, you can also book a session in one their sauna pods! A barrel-shaped, cedar sauna featuring a floor-to-ceiling fish-eye window facing a Hocking Hills view. Drive right up – no hiking required. Step through the changing chamber, to the sauna – hot and waiting! Seats four. The Block House

The Blockhouse was designed in 2021 by owners, Kevin & Lisa Schmidlin. As the name implies, the building “blocks” of the home interlock together to create a fun, modern twist to a traditional cabin. Hocking Hills Underground

The Nova Cottage Shipping Container is situated in the heart of the awe-inspiring Hocking Hills and Lake Hope State Parks. The tiny house has 1 bedroom and 1 bath. They offer a well stocked kitchen featuring an induction cook top, toaster oven, microwave and small refrigerator with freezer. The front patio has rocking chairs perfect for watching the sun go down behind the hills. The covered back patio has comfortable patio furniture, hot tub and macrame swing. Great for all types of weather!
